Monroe Minerals Inc is a Canadian company engaged in uranium exploration and directed by a board with extensive minerals and international experience. With confidence in the medium and long term uranium product price and believing that the 2006-2007 uranium stock market bubble could not be sustained, Monroe entered the uranium exploration sector in 2007 with the dual strategy of assembling property portfolios in Africa and Canada and acting as a catalyst in consolidating the junior sector in Canada.

Monroe has acquired three uranium projects to date in 2007-2008, all in Newfoundland and Labrador and all in partnership with Altius Minerals. In addition to the 2008 exploration programs on these properties, Monroe's current priorities are completing the assembly of property portfolios in both Africa and Canada and identifying suitable companies for merger or other corporate development activity.

Monroe's strategy is well defined: enhancing shareholder value by combining technical expertise, corporate development skills and professional management. This strategy is being implemented in four ways:
